Q: what is brief writing? A:  A brief is a formal document a lawyer uses both to convince a court that the client's argument is sound and to persuade a court to adopt that position. A brief must state the law, the facts of the cases and the reasons for the conclusion in a clear and concise manner. * What is case brief A case brief is a shortened, concise summary of a court opinion, usually in outline firm. Hence, the term "brief" typically this is used for more effective self-stud. It is easier to read a well-written case brief example rather than going through a verbatim case which is about 100 pages long. It can also be used to present a case to other people as it is a lot simpler than the actual case file.
